Institute Presentation


The  National e-Science Centre (NeSC) at the University of Glasgow are leading the development of the Virtual Research Environment (VRE) for EuroDSD. NeSC are involved in a wide variety of projects in a range of domains including clinical trials, bioinformatics, social sciences, electronics and geospatial sciences amongst numerous others. The common denominator across these projects is in supporting fine grained security, and offering security-drive, user-oriented research environments where seamless access to distributed and heterogeneous resources are made available. These experiences will directly help shape the VRE and the associated registry that underpins the other work packages in EuroDSD.
